Brian Icerman

Vice President & Department Manager

“I am firm believer in leaving things better than you found them. While working with our clients, we have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for communities throughout Florida. It is very rewarding to be a part of teams that create infrastructure solutions for future generations.” – Brian Icerman

Meet Brian, a consummate facilitator! He is a Department Manager in our Jacksonville office. He has served as a project manager or technical lead on stormwater master plans, stormwater retrofit projects, and water quality improvement projects. He earned his Bachelor’s in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, specializing in Land and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Florida.

Cool Projects: One of the coolest projects I’ve worked on is the St. Johns County Regional Modeling Program, which is a combination of many projects over the past 10 years. I have served in nearly every role imaginable on these projects. The team and I assisted the County to develop Regional Models, covering almost 700 square miles with nearly 11,000 nodes. The model nodes are connected by nearly 10,000 hydraulic features and over 15,000 surface flow connections. Currently, the regional models are being leveraged to proactively plan for development, update FEMA risk maps, and evaluate regional solutions. The County also gains Community Rating System points. As a resident of the County, I am proud to play an essential role in their proactive approach to solving problems.

Fun Fact: Three random, but interesting, facts about me are: I have lived in my Florida my whole life, I am a big Florida State fan, and I could eat Mexican food every day.
