Doug Toth

Senior Vice President & Senior Manager

I really enjoy the combination of working with our people and the types of projects we are tasked with. It’s especially rewarding working with junior level staff and sharing my experiences to help them pave their own way. My 19 years at Jones Edmunds has helped me form many relationships and act as a mentor.

Meet Doug, principal for our NASA contract! He is one of our Managing Directors, and he has 22 years of experience managing environmental and infrastructure engineering projects. He earned his Doctorate and Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. Doug has worked out of both our Gainesville and Titusville locations and has spent the majority of his career working on NASA infrastructure, civil design, and environmental related projects.

Cool Projects: The NASA Launch Complex 39B Demolition Project. It started with a study where we identified all the systems that fed into the launch pad structures which required being disconnected. Over 100 systems serviced the structure ranging from water to liquid hydrogen. We then produced a design package which was used by a contractor to disassemble the launch pad. It’s amazing because now the pad is being prepared for the SLS Rocket, which will take humans to Mars.

Fun Fact: Doug is part of a heavy military family, including having served on a submarine in the Navy, father was an Air Force bomber pilot, a brother was a crew chief on helicopters in the Army, four uncles served in the Navy, a cousin was a marine, another was in the Air Force, and a son who will soon serve in the Army following his graduation from West Point.
