Sean Menard

Engineer Intern

“I continue to be passionate about the work I do when it comes from a firm whose core values are Integrity, Knowledge, and Service. I find great joy in serving others and being able to help solve issues alongside those in need. Working as part of a team who places so much weight on the integrity of that work is truly motivating and an inspiration!” – Sean Menard, EI

Get to know Sean, our eager to help EI! Sean is an Engineer Intern within our Infrastructure discipline and has been with our firm for two years. He has experience with ARC-GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GEM Software. He earned a Bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on environmental hydrology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Cool Projects: City of St. Cloud WTP #1. We were implementing a monochloramine disinfection process into their existing system and it was the first project with the company that I felt was pulled straight from one of my college courses. With the guidance and instruction of Tom Friedrich, that was the first project that I ran a full, multi-day pilot test for and made me confident this was a good career choice.

Fun Fact: I have an excellent ability to memorize. Some of the things I’ve memorized include the first 100 digits of pi, chapters of the Bible, and poetry.
