Steve Berry

Senior Consultant

There are three key factors for a successful relationship between a client and oneself: trust, open communication, and competency. A successful relationship of any kind has its foundation in mutual trust.” – Steve Berry.

Meet Steve, our creative problem solver! He is a Senior Consultant within our Civil/Environmental discipline. He has nearly 40 years of extensive experience in technical assessments, environmental permitting, planning, compliance, cost analyses, and the management and marketing of projects. Steve has even served as expert witness for trials involving port-related projects regarding permitting, dredging, and water quality and has given numerous briefings to federal and state congressional representatives, state governors, and high-ranking military personnel. He earned his Bachelor’s in Ecology/Biology from Birmingham-Southern College and another Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida.

Cool Projects: I enjoyed providing environmental permitting and mitigation services for a first-of-its kind commercial aerospace manufacturing facility in Florida. Its cutting edge, state-of-the-art project features and incredible demands for fast-tracked permitting and creative problem solving most intrigued me; however, I have a higher appreciation for the close and cohesiveness relationship that I was able to build between Jones Edmunds and the client.

Fun Fact: I really enjoy anything that centers around food. For instance, I like to immerse myself in gardening and cooking. I also like to plan events that involve food and entertainment.
