Suzi Kaufman

Vice President & Senior Manager

“The people who work here amaze me every day. Even though we are a relatively small group of people, we produce some really interesting work. Everyone is always thinking, “What’s next?” and “How can we best calculate this?” I am proud to work among such talented people.” – Suzi Kaufman

Get to know Suzi, our go-to team builder! Suzi is the Senior Manager of our GIS/Ecology and Water Resources discipline. She has 15 years of experience in water resources engineering and applying GIS solutions, with projects covering water quality monitoring and modeling, watershed planning and modeling, and water resources design.  She earned both of her Master’s and Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida.

Cool Projects: I have worked on many watershed management plans, and have a lot of experience with watersheds studied under SWFWMD’s Watershed Management Program. I was also on the team who developed the SIMPLE model, which is a GIS-based pollutant loading model used to calculate monthly or seasonal pollutant load estimates. Currently I am managing an infrastructure inventory project at Fort Riley in Kansas.

Fun Fact: Aside from team building, my other loves include my family, swimming, baseball, and Bruce Springsteen.
