Bill Lynch

Senior Consultant

“I came to Florida nearly 40 years ago to become an environmental engineer with a goal to help mankind develop solutions to reduce their impact on, and from, the environment, while meeting growth, change, and regulatory challenges. I have been fortunate during my career to work on utilities, environment, and facilities-related programs and projects for many Florida government and industry clients to do just that.” – Bill Lynch

Meet Bill, “The Cleaner”!  He is one of our Senior Consultants working from our West Palm Beach office.  He serves clients and colleagues employing the advice of one of his first mentors, “always touch the work and always listen intently to your clients.” It was good advice when Bill started his career and it still is today. Bill has hands‐on experience working with clients to deliver program management and design services involving conventional and creative strategies to complete Florida buildings, utilities, and water management. He earned his Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer in Florida, Georgia and Kentucky; as well as a certified Construction Document Technologist with the Construction Specifications Institute.

Cool Projects: Always the one in front of me….and the South Florida Water Management District Engineering and Construction Program (2004 – 2011) where I lead a management and technical team responsible to the District’s Operations and Management Resource Area for delivery of civil works O&M programs for existing levees, canals, bridges, water control structures and more. The contract also included engineering and construction support of >$100M of O&M projects. At the end of the program, The District recognized me with a certificate of appreciation as “The Cleaner” noting he never met a District problem I couldn’t cleanup. Displaying the certificate is an excellent reminder to me that applying knowledge and delivering service with integrity matters.

Fun Fact:  Service in the Community matters!…..I am an active member of Leadership Palm Beach County helping bring together leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to build and steward a vibrant, interconnected community.  He is also the Board Chair of Center for Child Counseling whose mission is building the foundation for playful, healthful, and hopeful living for children and families across Palm Beach County.
