Jones Edmunds and JEACES host holiday collection drives throughout Florida
You’ve heard it said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give;”1 and at Jones Edmunds and JEACES, we dedicate ourselves to serving…our clients, our communities and most of all people. With seven offices throughout Florida, Jones Edmunds/JEACES made contributions to local organizations for this year’s Holiday Season. Read more about our local giving below:
GNV/JAX: The Gainesville and Jacksonville offices paired together to donate to Dream on Purpose, a nonprofit organization co-founded by two of our own, Shareen Baptiste and Patrice Fletcher. This nonprofit is dedicated to empowering girls; however, the holiday drive benefitted 10 girls and boys in need. Each teenager received at least two of the gifts they requested on their wish list, lots of fun stocking stuffers, and gift cards, which included a $10 gift card to a retail store courtesy of Jones Edmunds/JEACES. Shareen and Patrice personally delivered the gifts to each girl and boy, who were all extremely appreciative.
SAR/TPA/WHV: The Sarasota, Tampa and Winter Haven offices donated two large bags of toys to the Metropolitan Ministries for their annual toy drive. This is our 10th year supporting this organization, which has served poor and homeless men, women, and children in the Tampa Bay region for over 45 years. The Ministries has gone from a single room food pantry, to one of America’s most effective and innovative caregivers. Serving as many as 300 families daily through Outreach and Prevention Services, the Ministries remains committed to breaking the cycle of poverty.
TVL/WPB: The Titusville and West Palm Beach offices donated a full box of unwrapped gifts for children of all ages to Toys for Tots, a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve since 1947. Toys for Tots distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for the Holiday Season. Its mission is to make sure that every child has hope and a gift to unwrap.
