Jones Edmunds and JEACES hosted Twogether Twosday on 2/22/22 in appreciation of our Associates for Engineers’ Week. Associates from each office fellowshipped together, participated in fun and interactive activities, such as trivia or scavenger hunts, and of course, ate tacos – whether by truck, trunk, local restaurant, or delivery service. This gathering was our first in-person event since the onset of the global pandemic.
“At Jones Edmunds and JEACES, we are more than just a company, we are a family,” says our Human Resources Director Ginger Hamner, HRCM, CRM. “Days and events like this show that we truly love what we do and appreciate those we work with and those we hope to work with.”
For instance, the Gainesville office was fortunate to have several students seeking internships attend. They got to know our Associates and vice versa and the tacos were an added bonus. A special thank you to Kristen Smith, our Human Resources Recruiter, for coordinating and facilitating these connections. “I thought the event was very nice (excellent food). I was able to chat with several of the students that attended as well as some Jones Edmunds personnel that I typically don’t get to visit with,” says JEACES President Greg Graden. “Everyone I spoke with enjoyed the event and expressed their appreciation.”
To top off Twogether Twosday, our Associates leveraged this event as an opportunity to positively impact the community. Our offices collected canned goods to donate to local food banks that are currently experiencing a supply shortage due to COVID-19.
“Thanks to everyone who helped us organize, plan, and participate in a terrific Twogether Twosday event,” says Jones Edmunds President and CEO Rick Ferreira, PE. “So great to have opportunities to meet new Associates and reconnect with friends and colleagues we may not interact with on a regular basis.
