Jones Edmunds is excited to announce that Jamie Sortevik Bell, PE, CFM, has been recognized by the Florida Section American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (FASABE) as the 2021 Outstanding Young Engineer Award recipient. This award is given to an engineer under the age of 40 whose work in the field of Agricultural Engineering is having significant impact on the industry and communities they serve.
As a young engineer at Jones Edmunds, Jamie has worked hard to improve the water quality of Florida’s springs and watersheds. She has led or significantly contributed to dozens of water quality projects throughout the state, and her clients have noted that she excels in generating community acceptance of projects and obtaining grant funding. In the last year alone, her clients have been awarded over $7 million toward water quality improvement and alternative water supply projects.
