NASA Awards Jones Edmunds Civil Engineering Contract

NASA has selected Jones Edmunds as one of three firms to provide architecture-engineer (A/E) services for civil engineering infrastructure, equipment, and facilities at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida and other locations throughout the agency. This is our fifth selection as an A/E firm to provide these services for NASA. Since 1992, Jones Edmunds has been a consultant of choice at NASA and our re-selection is a testimony to the quality work and unrivaled service we have provided.

The A/E services are for the design and other professional services necessary to rehabilitate, modernize, and develop new or existing civil infrastructure and facilities and may include geotechnical/foundations, facilities, utilities infrastructure, site planning, stormwater management, transportation engineering, solid waste management, coastal and intra-coastal waterway management, security systems, or other services to support the NASA Artemis program, which will return Americans to the Moon. This is a 5-year, firm-fixed price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and with a maximum potential value of $150 million.

Jones Edmunds Senior Consultant and NASA Contract Manager Doug Toth, PhD, PE remarked, “We are honored and excited to continue our partnership with NASA, which spans nearly 30 years. We’ve assembled a vast amount of experience and institutional knowledge and some of us have spent the majority of our careers working with NASA. Our team is ready to support NASA with the civil infrastructure at Kennedy Space Center necessary to support the Artemis program, which will send the first woman and the next man to the moon.”
