Our COVID-19 Updates

April 15, 2020

Dear Clients, Partners and Friends,

As we enter our second month of COVID-19 response, we wish to express our appreciation to all the individuals who are serving to keep our infrastructure safe and available. We are humbled to be a part of the team that is keeping things moving across the state.

A new “normal” has settled over our operations. Video-conferencing among our Associates and with our Clients for project meetings and even virtual attendance at council and commission meetings have become a routine part of our day. As an essential business, we continue to move projects forward for all our clients and appreciate the kind words so many of you have offered our Associates.

As the COVID-19 response of our federal, state, and local governments evolves, Jones Edmunds continues to monitor and adhere to the requirements while providing a high level of service to our clients and maintaining a focus on the well-being of our Associates, families, and communities. For projects that require Jones Edmunds Associates to be onsite, we will continue to support these projects, practicing social distancing and CDC-recommended hygiene practices as long as allowed by government mandates.

If you need assistance or have questions regarding how we can work together remotely, please contact your Jones Edmunds Project Manager or me.

Sincerely,

Rick Ferreira, PE

Dear Clients, Partners, and Friends,

As we continue to monitor and adhere to the requirements of federal, state, and local governments, Jones Edmunds has implemented a Remote Work platform that enables us to continue to provide a high level of service to our clients while maintaining a focus on the well-being of our Associates, families and communities. Our plan includes using a variety of technologies to meet your needs and keep your projects on track.

Our Associates are available to you via phone, email, conference call, and video conferencing. We can share documents for joint review and hold project meetings to keep your projects moving forward.åÊ Also, should you need our participation, we can support virtual public meetings and provide public information as needed to keep essential services moving for your community. For those projects that require Jones Edmunds Associates be onsite, we will continue to support those projects, practicing social distancing and CDC recommended hygiene practices as long as allowed by government mandates.

If you need assistance or have questions regarding how we can work together remotely, please contact your Jones Edmunds Project Manager or me.

Sincerely,

To Our Clients and Friends:

At Jones Edmunds, the safety and well-being of our employees and our clients is always our priority. However, we recognize that we are in uncharted territory as the situation with the COVID-19/Coronavirus changes daily. Federal, state, and local officials are making adjustments as circumstances change to curb – to the extent possible – the spread of the virus. We are actively monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are taking steps to help keep our people and the communities we serve safe while continuing to meet our clients’ª needs. Here are some steps we are taking:

  • We have limited nonessential travel. However, as engineering consultants we often provide essential services that are needed to keep many of the necessary infrastructure systems in our communities operating. As needed, our Associates will attend meetings, be on construction sites, etc., to ensure your projects continue as needed.
  • We have limited meeting in large groups, and some Associates are working remotely.
  • We have instituted remote work policies within Jones Edmunds to minimize exposure while maintaining corporate operations.

We will continue to be here to serve both the public and our clients. Phone calls, emails, and online meetings continue to be effective means of communicating to offer advice, collaborate, and take appropriate actions.

We want all our Associates to remain alert and practice appropriate hygiene and social distancing as well as other precautions recommended by the CDC as we move through this situation.

If you have any questions, please reach out to any of our Associates as you normally would as we remain safe while being responsive to your needs.

Rick Ferreira, PE
President and CEO
