In 2018, in collaboration with the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) Utility Council, Jones Edmunds created the Septic to Sewer Guidance Document. This document serves as a valuable resource for stakeholders transitioning from septic systems to centralized sewer systems. It highlights the various challenges and concerns faced by different groups, emphasizing the importance of working together to enhance our environment. In 2025, the document was updated to incorporate the latest legislation, technological advancements, and funding opportunities. By providing these guidance materials, we empower communities to make informed decisions that lead to improved water quality and better public health.
