For this project, Jones Edmunds was recognized by the Florida Institute of Civil Engineers (FICE) with an Engineering Excellence Grand Award. At the time, the facility was the largest operating MIEX® treatment plant in the United States.
Description:
Jones Edmunds planned, designed, permitted, and provided construction-phase services for a 9-MGD magnetic ion exchange (MIEX®) plant and its associated well field. This project involved treating groundwater using MIEX® treatment technology to remove trihalomethane (THM) precursors in the raw water.
