Jones Edmunds provided the planning, design, public/stakeholder outreach, and construction services (working under a CMAR format) on an accelerated schedule to reduce nutrient levels in the DeLeon Springs springshed by connecting McGinnis Elementary, the DeLeon Springs business community, and existing and planned residential neighborhoods to the City of Deland’s centralized water and wastewater system. The project included a new master lift at the school and approximately 3.5 miles of wastewater force main and 3.5 miles of water main including fire hydrants along the entire route.
